Patricia A. Vacek, age 59, of Fargo, ND, died November 26, 2007, in her home.

Patricia Langenfeld was born on September 29, 1948, in Omaha, NE, to O.J. (Bud) and Carmel (Heffron) Langenfeld. She grew up in Omaha, NE and graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 1966. She attended Creighton University where she received her B.S. in Nursing.

Patricia and Alan Vacek were married on July 18, 1970, in Omaha, NE. They lived in Ohio, New York, Iowa, and moved to North Dakota in 1983. She worked as a nurse at Meritcare in Orthopedics from 1990 until 2005.

She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She enjoyed hiking and the outdoors. She was a person of great faith and love who cared unselfishly for others.

She is survived by her husband, Alan, Fargo, ND; her children, Mike (Kelly), Little Falls, MN, Craig (Kim), Lincoln, NE, Tim (Kari), New Richmond, WI, Beth, Fargo, ND; seven grandchildren, MiKel, Joelle, Hunter, Joe, Abby, Kate, Maggie; sister, Mary Jo (Steve), Franco, Omaha, NE, her brothers, John (Nancy) Langenfeld, Omaha, NE, Michael (Colleen) Langenfeld, Omaha, NE, and her father, O.J. (Bud) Langenfeld, Omaha, NE; nephews and nieces.

Out of Pat's deep respect for life, the family requests memorials to Saint Gianna's Maternity Home, 15605 County Road 15, Minot, ND 58261.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, Church of the Nativity, Fargo, ND.

Prayer service: 7:00 p.m., Friday, Church of the Nativity, Fargo, ND.

Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Church of the Nativity, Fargo, ND.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Omaha, NE.

Peggy Nash Greiner went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 8, 2008 following a long period of ill health. Peggy was born on May 20, 1952, in South Bend, Indiana, the beloved daughter of John and Lois Nash. Peggy was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota alongside her brother, John Jr. and sister, Valerie. While attending Marymount College she met her husband, John Greiner, a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Belboir, at a fall mixer dance. Peggy and John were married April 30, 1977 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Peggy's four boys became the loves of her life and she subsequently devoted her life to them and her husband. Peggy was actively involved in her church, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan; and Michigan Military Moms, as she was the proud mother of two active servicemembers. Peggy's wit and warmth brought joy to everyone who knew her. Preceded in death by her father, brother and sister, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, John; her mother, Lois Nash of St. Paul, Minnesota; and her four s

Peggy's family will hold a wake on Monday, February 11, 2008 at Janowiak Funeral home located at 320 N. Washington St., Ypsilanti, Michigan, from 5-8 P.M. with a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. Peggy's life will be celebrated with Rite of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, with visitation at the Church from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Ypsilanti, MI. A Luncheon will follow the burial. Memorial contributions should be made to the St. John Renovation Fund.
